LOGITECH CORPORATION SELECTS STAR ANALYTICS' STAR INTEGRATION SERVER (SIS)

SIS Used as Key Component of Logitech's Financial Systems

Star Analytics, Inc. announces that the U.S. division of Logitech (NSDQ:LOGI), the leading vendor of personal computer peripherals has selected Star Analytics' Star Integration Server (SIS) to provide a vital component of their Business Intelligence (BI) infrastructure, allowing them to rapidly extract data from their Hyperion Solutions (NSDQ:HYSL) Business Performance Suite of applications for management reporting.

According to Sam Leung, Senior Finance Manager at Logitech, "Star Integration Server is the glue that allows us to bind Hyperion applications to our other financial systems, for both reporting and analysis. Star's product provides us with a seamless, high-performance background channel for our financial data."

The Hyperion BPMTM suite is a key piece of Logitech's financial reporting and analysis strategy, so the powerful capabilities of their Hyperion applications are vital to them. However, "The Hyperion data is most useful to us when we can get it out and move it exactly where it's needed, when it's needed," said Leung. "Star Integration Server allows us to achieve that goal easily without any complexity."

Leung was already familiar with Star Integration Server from his previous role as Finance Manager at another large technology company who have preciously purchased the product. "I knew what SIS could do when I came here," he said, "so I knew it was an obvious solution for Logitech."
