EXPEDIA CORPORATION SELECTS STAR ANALYTICS' STAR INTEGRATION SERVER (SIS)

SIS is a Key Component of Expedia's Financial Reporting

Star Analytics, Inc. announces that Expedia, Inc. (NSDQ:EXPE), the leading online travel site, has selected the latest version of Star Analytics' Star Integration Server (SIS) as an integral part of their corporate reporting, using the Hyperion (NSDQ:HYSL) Business Performance Management Suite of applications.

According to Stephanie Van Eyk, Senior Financial Manager at Expedia in Bellvue, WA, "Star Integration Server is the only way we could efficiently integrate our Hyperion application data with our corporate reporting systems. SIS was an obvious and effective solution to a very difficult problem for us."

Expedia currently has dozens of users worldwide using the Hyperion BPM suite, and many more leveraging the capabilities of SIS to extract data from their Hyperion BPM applications and other financial systems. SIS allows Expedia to seamlessly, reliably, and automatically share data between Hyperion PlanningTM or Hyperion EssbaseTM, and reporting applications such as Hyperion IntelligenceTM and Expedia's data warehouse.
